From Belle’s iconic yellow ballgown to the Beast’s majestic attire, each costume was designed to embody character and enhance the story’s fantastical atmosphere. Whimsical looks for enchanted objects like Lumière and Mrs. Potts added charm and depth, supporting the production’s themes of love, transformation, and the enduring power of inner beauty.
D e s i g n A p p r o a c h
This production drew inspiration from the classic Disney film, blended with fantasy elements and a touch of historical influence. The palette contrasted warm, earthy tones for the village with jewel like colors for the enchanted castle. Silhouettes emphasized the fairytale scale of principal characters while keeping the ensemble grounded, creating a world that felt both magical and rooted in story.

Belle’s Gown: Constructed with five skirt layers and adorned with thousands of rhinestones.
Lumière’s Candle Hands: Rewired LED torches with hidden button switch for live “light up” moments.
Sugar Bowl’s Crown: Three piece sugar cube headdress with removable cubes for choreography.
Spinning Plates: Built from posterboard, wood, canvas, and hardware, strapped onto performers’ backs for lightweight functionality.
